How to make moong dal pudding at home

Moong dal pudding

 Ingredients:-

 • Moong dal - 100 grams (half cup)

Ghee - 100 grams (half cup)

 Mawa - 50 - 100 grams (1/4 - 1/2 cup)

 • Sugar - 150 grams (3/4 cup)

 • Cashew - 20 (cut one cashew into 4 pieces)

 • Raisins - 20

Cardamom - 4 (peel and grind)

 • Almonds - 5 (finely cut into length)

 Method:-

 • Wash the moong dal and soak it in water for 2-3 hours.

 • Wash and remove the lentils from the water and grind them with a grinder without adding water.  Do not make the lentils very fine.

Put the pan on the gas and heat it.  Put ghee in the pan and heat it lightly and add the lentils.  Fry the dal on medium flame while stirring.  In about 20 or 25 minutes, the lentils will be roasted well (roasted lentils do not stick to the pan and the ghee looks different) The lentils are ready to roast.  Take out the lentils in a bowl.

 • Put the mawa in the pan and fry it on low flame and mix it in the dal.

 • Mix sugar and sugar equivalent in a vessel and keep it on the gas.  After boiling in water, cook for 1 to 2 minutes and prepare sugar syrup.

 • Add this sugar syrup to the lentils, also add cashew nuts and varieties.  Now roast halwa on slow gas and after 5-7 minutes halba is ready.  Turn the gas off.  Add ground cardamom to the halwa and mix.  Your moong dal pudding is ready.

 • Take out the moong dal pudding in a bowl and garnish it with grated almonds.  Serve hot moong dal halwa and eat.  After cooling, keep the moong dal pudding in the fridge and take out the moong dal pudding from the refrigerator for 7 days and eat it.
